Dear Woodson Families and Community,

It is my honor and privilege to serve as the Principal of Woodson Elementary School. I am excited to be part of the Woodson community and look forward to building strong relationships with our students, families, staff, and community partners.

At Woodson, we believe every student is capable of incredible things. Our goal is to create a positive, inclusive, and student-centered environment where students feel valued, challenged, and inspired to reach their fullest potential.

A key part of our vision for student success is AVID—Advancement Via Individual Determination. AVID strategies are woven throughout our campus to help students become confident, organized, independent learners. Through collaboration, inquiry, organization, goal-setting, and college and career readiness skills, we encourage our students to take ownership of their learning and believe in what they can accomplish.

Woodson is also proud to be a PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) school. Our school-wide expectations—Be Responsible, Be Respectful, and Be Safe—help us build a caring, supportive school culture where students can learn and grow.

I am proud to work alongside our returning Assistant Principal, Emma Bobadilla, and our dedicated team of educators and staff. Together, we are committed to providing high-quality learning experiences and supporting the academic, social, and personal growth of every Pioneer.
